Running tar-1.05 on a sun-3, Sun-os 3.5.

Illegal options to tar on the command line cause a segmentation
violation because msg_file is not set before calling getoldopt.

Reproduce via:

   tar cvfF /dev/null .

This will segmentation fault rather than print the illegal
option message.
