I think that the call for votes MUST be posted to rec.humor.funny.  The
only reason I found out about it was the little bits of this argument
that were cross-posted to news.admin.  All the groups listed were
basically of an administrative nature, and not likely to be read by
mere Usenet readers.  Heck, we only get one of those groups here at
all (news.admin).  BTW, thanks to the people who mailed a copy of
the call for vote to me; I've got enough copies now to keep me warm all
next winter :-)

I'd leave it to Brad to decide whether the call for a vote should be
posted to r.h.f as Administrivia or as a Bona-fide joke.
