We have been somewhat on / somewhat off the net lately (I'm hoping this
makes it out), so I missed the sci.chem discussions. I do see that a 
newgroup message was apparently sent out a week or so ago, but such never
arrived here.

Was it actually sent out? Did it somehow miss the  uw-beaver!sumax!...
chain?
