Actually this is the age of the oldest file, and does not have any relation to calling attempts. For instance, if you have Never in the time field, your system will not make any attempts to call the site for delivery, but the files will still age. You can artificially age them as well (via touch) to generate bounces - this is useful when some unkind person mails 3 copies of the same 60k message through your long distance connection. -- Congratulations to Midori Ito
