In the last couple of days, I think the issue has been pretty well covered (and, I'll add, in a very calm and rational way; part of the reason I let this political topic go as far as it did was that it was a flameless, cool debate). I've received mail expressing displeasure at reading this topic, though, and, as it's outside the charter of this group, I feel bound to put an end to it.
