Lines: 13 There is an omission on the getopt(3c) manual page in the 3B1 documentation for 3.51, opterr is missing. Opterr is an external integer which if set to 0 will prevent getopt from printing its error message on an unrecognized flag. The '?' will still be returned and the application program can respond to the error. I have no idea why it was left out of the 3B1 manual when I am sure it was in other AT&T documentation. -- Dave Lampe {ames | lll-tis | sun | pyramid}!pacbell!dplace!djl (415) 455-1571
