  I saw that ad, too. Note that it says "MNP 5 software" rather than
firmware. I believe that this is an MNP capable terminal program and a
cheap modem.

  Please note that I am not in any way claiming that this is a bad deal.
I thought there was a public domain MNP 3 package around and would love
to sahre it with users if I could find it.
