Is special telephone wire required for outdoor use?  Specifically, if I
wish to run the wiring for an extension outside the house -- in genuine
telco style! -- should I get different wire?  I'm concerned about the
effects of weather and sun on the outer jacket.  I know that these are
of concern for ordinary electrical wiring.
