But I don't know where else to ask. Due in part, I'm sure, to the fact that the recently posted versions of webster.el (to make enquiries of a webster dictionary server from within GNUemacs) encode a server at Boston University, that server is apparently about to be disabled. Since net connections to sri-nic.arpa and purdue are often not stable enough to be good for interactive things like webster, I would like to know whether there are other sites running such a server. This would make it possible to (a) replace use of the machine at BU; and (b) spread the load around. Are there any machines out there that are willing to provide this service (and also to admit it :-) )?
