Great, Paul, thanks.  I nominate this information for inclusion in a monthly
frequently-asked-questions message.  Seriously, I think comp.graphics is
overdue for such.  Any objections?  Any suggestions for what else to
include?

Sort of hosed, but if you send me specs on a format plus some uuencoded
samples, I will probably include a converter in the next release of PBM.
Considering that I'm getting ready for a major new release soon (with
color support), now is a great time to do this.
