The version of NeXT that we have, 0.8, contains a bug such that G++ 1.34 didn't compile. When 0.9 comes out I'll try it again. I believe there are people at NeXT working on bringing up G++. In the meantime, you might be able to get sun 3.x binaries to run directly on the NeXT, though this won't help much if you don't have a Sun 3 running 3.5!
