Message-ID: <320@val.UUCP> Date: 7 Apr 89 00:51:03 GMT Reply-To: aubrey@val.UUCP (Aubrey McIntosh) Organization: Video Associates Labs - Austin, TX Lines: 39 I have de-Compiled the binaries for the resident part of the Medos-2 operating system, as distributed by MRI in the $40 emulator for the IBM-PC. (*this is w/o FileSystem*) The code re-compiled under C18 to equivalent code, and I have been executing with a touched version of SEK for about two months. This process took forever, but I can de-compile M code with the best of them. :-) So for the next round I'll ask for help. ---------------------------- Some things I really want soon are: 1) Can some kind soul run my linked version of SEK.OBJ through the BootStrap Linker? 2) Can I get my own copy of the BootStrap Linker? I could, of course, make my own source from the copy of Program that I just de-compiled... 2) Does anyone know where I can get the 'Real' sources to Medos? Actually, that's not the question. I assume either ETH or Modula Corporation. Does anyone have those sources without being somehow *special?* 3) Is there a version of Program that linkloads files into High memory? 4) Is anyone actively working on the Code Generator Pass of this right now? For what CPUs. Thanks for any info. -- Whatcha' call a boomerang that doesn't come back? --Lost-- -------------------------------------------------------------- 1-(512)-346-5781 (v) Using Modula-2.
