Installing it in an existing Windows environment is probably a mistake. Softview has'nt done a very good job with the installation process for this environment. I would suggest you install it in a stand alone environment with the runtime software they provide. This will also keep it from messing up your win.ini. I have discovered that taxview is very sensitive to the PostScript driver you use. I have been unable to get good output from either the Aldus or the Micrografx drivers. It fails completely when using the Aldus driver direct to an Appletalk device. I plan to install the driver Softview provides with the stand alone environment, but have not done this yet. It's hard to fault Softview for this. I blame Microsoft for not providing a full function PostScript driver that meets all application requirements. (I would like to hear Microsoft's story on this issue.) -- Les Moss Citicorp TTI 3100 Ocean Park Blvd. (213) 452-9191, ext. 2982 Santa Monica, CA 90405 moss@ttidca.tti.com
