Bug in Elm Looses mailbox Keywords: elm bug loses mailbox Message-ID: <439@wubios.wustl.edu> Date: 5 Apr 89 19:16:34 GMT Organization: Washington University (St. Louis) Lines: 16 Ouch! I just lost my entire incoming mailbox. I was in elm, deleting certain messages, when I decided to quit. I pressed 'q' and I got this message over-and-over: ELM [seek] failed trying to read 779339 bytes into file When it finally exited, my entire spool file was gone! I am extremely upset about this. Elm should be smart enough to leave a file alone when it gets an error. -David- -- Bitnet: david@wubios.wustl ^ Mr. David J.
