You can call the dial-out port > "/dev/ttycu0" if you want. Then utmp is screwed up, because init thinks you were logged in on ttyd0 instead of ttycu0, and it never clears the login entry for ttycu0 in utmp. You'll show up in 'who' forever after. We do it this way on Xenix 3.5, because it's the only way to do it, and I'm having to rewrite init to track this multiple-tty-name stuff and clear BOTH entries.
