Our Robotics / Vision research group is looking into the possibility of buying a mobile robot and an on-board manipulator would be a big plus. The only ones I have heard of are the Heath Hero (which has a *very* limited capacity) and the TSR telerobot manufactured by 21st Century Robotics. The only information I have about the latter is a reference in a magazine. Does anyone have the address of 21st Century Robotics? Another possibility would be adding a robot arm (such as a small Puma) to a mobile platform (like the Denning). I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has tried this option. Thanks in advance, _______________________________________________________________________________ Brian Yamauchi University of Rochester yamauchi@cs.rochester.edu Computer Science Department _______________________________________________________________________________
