I was at a ham swap yesterday, and picked up 2 of those tone dialers you stick up in front of your telephone to autodial. (Well, ok, I traded them for some books. I would not have bought them, thats for sure!). It seems to work pretty well. If your application is such that you don't really need hours of fast redial before the person on the other end answers the phone, you might consider one of those.
