Well after doing a little more poking around I found that /lib/cpp had gotten clobbered somewhere along the process of moving, so after replacing it, all is ok. I didn't see the Dell in the compatibility listing so I guess that it can be added. It runs all of the tests in the test directory without error. I had no "real" problems getting the standard version 1.3d to run and that includes putting it onto 10 megs of the 90 meg hard disk, however it was a little tricky getting the hard disk partitioned.
