Thanks to everyone who responded to my questions about lwsrv going belly-up
when talking to an LW II/NT.  I think we've got the problem beat.

I grabbed Ed Moy's new version of macps (v:2.1) and ran prepfix on my
laserprep file.  Guess what - everything works now (including macps)!

If anyone else has been having problems with printing through lwsrv, I
recommend trying out the new version of macps ('specially prepfix).
It's currently available on sumex-aim.  (Let me know if you have
trouble getting it.  I can make it available for anonymous ftp if
anyone can't get to stanford.)
