I have a copy of SLIP downloaded from UUNET.UU.NET (same as TITIAN.RICE.EDU)
and the README file refers to a "patch" program to run using
    "if_sl.c.dif"
as input.  This program does not exist on my SUN-3/260 runing 3.5,
or on my VAX running Ultrix 2.3.  Does anybody have more info for me.

Please send to me directly.  I will summarize to the NET.
