Yes, I know about rrn, but I don't think it would run on a PC or on my VMS host. Yes, I know about ANU news (I run it), but I would like something that uses BSD 4.3 network programming libraries (DECnet transport for the VMS environment) and termcap or curses. What I want is a common piece of software that runs in multiple environments and is suitable for providing news service to lots of small, sites that don't have many resources or technical expertise (just install it and go). I saw an NNTP client in comp.os.vms some time ago that might be retrofitted for my application, but lost the references. Any pointers or suggestions would be appreciated.
