Does anyone out there know of a harddrive for the Amiga 500 that is
connected to the computer by a cable instead of having the drive's board
plug into the computer.  Where my Amiga is on my desk it gets moved in and
out from under the shelf my monitor is on, and I think that a harddrive 
that connects directly (no cable) case to case would get damaged .

I have read about "The Vault", a 20 meg drive with an 8 foot cable so it can
be placed on a shelf, under external floppies, etc.  The price was about 600
US, but I don't know the distributor, manufacturer or of anyone who sells them.

If you know who makes this please let me know, and if you know of any others
I would like to know about them as well.
