Yesterday, I went to my local university library at Gallaudet University. I searched data in Library's computer and found it that called "Fractal" by B. Mandelbrot. I took a printout from computer and went to book shelf sections. I found it. Last, I examined it. Finally, I was suprised that book was pointless. I did not understand that book explains. It had no alogrithms in the box area but explains alogrithm in English. I still did not understand that eassy explains. I left the book alone.. I complaint that books which explains alogrithms, should show the raw alogrithm code in box area but *NOT* in English!! The book was very confused! I can understand the raw alogrithm code clearly, but not english. Well, What is features and summary of "The Science of Fractal Images" by Peitgen and Saute? I will not buy pointless books unless you recommend me that. I went to Ballston last minute and I unable locate that book. Then, I asked salesman for that book. The salesman looked item in his catalogue and found it. He said me that it costs $34.00. I thanks to him for more information about cost. I will consider to purchase it after you explain me that summary of "The Science of Fractal Images". I have that questions for you: Is the real alogrithm code in that book? (Not english-like alogrithm, Just Pascal-like alogrithm.) Has it colorful images? How many pages does it have? Thanks for your replies. -- Tim Stark P.S. I do not subscribe to comp.graphics, just reply me directly. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Timothy Stark | Bitnet: 11tstark@gallua.bitnet VMS Gallaudet University | Internet: 11tstark@gallux.gallaudet.edu UNIX P.O.
