You pay about $10.00 a month no matter how much you use the system. For that fee you get (last time I checked) 1 hour (that is one) of "free" time. After that hour is up, you get charged a fee per minute for most of the areas you enter. There are many free areas on Q'link but if you want to talk with people or download anything (except for some files directly related to Q'link) you are paying.
