  This a somewhat official, (I'm authorising it :-)) announcement
and invitation to anyone interested in listening/contributing/guiding
the developement of mailers for the Amiga. A small distribution list
has been started to distribute messages between Rob Tillotson
(author of RMB, a message reader for point systems)
Russell McOrmond (a local Fidonet sysop running OPUS on the Bridge,
and Beta testing Inlet on the Amiga side, and my bossnode) and myself.

  The current discussion has been centered mostly on a "message server"
independant of the exact transport layer (be it exec messages,
tcp/slip, dnet, or FDDI...), and will likely get into
more general topics relating to Amiga in Fidonet, in uucp (not quite
gating, but close) and how we are going to convert all of Fidonet
into Amiganet (8-)
