Now, note that what information I have is second hand, and none of it may be accurate. I understand that every mounted partition uses 32K or chip RAM. (Nota again that I use supramount, not a mountlist. I'm lazy) I understand that this is for track buffering. Well, 96K is still a lot of memory, for us poor slobs with ``only 1 megabyte'' (did I really say that ?) so I'd be more than willing to let them share a single track buffer.
