Type won't. Since when? I mean this quite literally. I just tried cp myfile * and it did not copy the comment. Note that my cp is just Copy renamed (mv'ed? :^) Since 1.3? I tried this with a 1.2 disk and cp. Besides, aren't directories, filenames, and file comments concepts applicable only to block-structured, (usually) random access devices?
