   I encountered this problem, but considered it only a minor
inconvienence.  To make this work, I made the program dial the
number 2, and then in my starting directory on the host, I made a
file called ATDT2 that was a shell script that returned the string
"CONNECT", and started uucico.  Works like a charm...
