I would be grateful if somebody could save me from wading through a stack of hex dumped IFF files for the answer. What I want to do is simply save a Bob as an IFF file (like Dpaint does for brushes). My guess is that I just change the width and height parameters in the header of the file and dump my bitmap with x and y pixel offsets in each bit plane to the top left corner of the region of interest. Could somebody please let me know what the "accepted" way is? Kevin Dooley -- Kevin Dooley UUCP - {uunet, pyramid}!utai!helios.physics!dooley Physics Dept.
