You'll need some II+ software that can take advantage of the 65802.
Such software is not common (COME ON NETLAND get BUSY!!) but you can
write your own if you want...

Installing the 65802 to my knowledge does not create any hardware problems.
In general, the 65802 is more compatible with the 6502 than the 65C02 is
because the instruction timings are correct - the bug fixes no longer add
cycles to the instruction time.

If anyone wants to know how to put a 65C02 into a II+, I can send the
references you need..
