Of course, you could always use "FREEPRINTER" which is in the public domain
and is supplied with "FREEWRITER" -- both courtesy of Paul Lutus, the author
of AppleWriter.

It's formatting capabilities may not meet the most exotic of needs, but it
does do a fair job, and it works with pure text documents.
