At CMU, a Mac+ costs $1040 (not counting the $34 for the Claris bundle) The GS still retails for $1249, from what I understand. Even at a typical 40% discount for AUC pricing, $750 for the CPU with no monitor or disk drive makes it an extremely unwise purchase. -- - Ralph W.
