I'm not actively working on anything yet.  However, discussion & design of
these things is very important before actually digging in.  Secondly, I don't
know if I'm actually going to have time to take such a project to completion
on my own time.  That's why I'm sharing any ideas or suggestions I have.

Very simple addage:  Look before you leap.
