I am quite fond of ZBasic; it does virtually all I ask of it and is light-years ahead of Applesoft. There is a ZBasic demo that can be downloaded from any number of sources. You can't save compiled object code, but other than that, the demo is pretty full-featured. I know GEnie has the demo. It would be too large to send over the net, but I can give you the # of an Atlanta BBS that has the demo if you are interested.
