I guess I'm flattered at having questions pointed my way, but since I
don't own a IIgs (and besides that, only APPEAR to know what I'm typing
about :-) I'll pass this along to someone with a IIgs and an ImageWriter I
(I don't buy printers from Apple, the clones work as well and cost much
less).

             Right now the only way I can use my
             ImageWriter I is through an additional Super Serial Card
             installed in Slot 1 (I'm not using the built in printer port
             cause after a while, the imagewriter starts losing characters
             sent to it).  Any idea as to how to set both the dipswitches and
             the printer port setting in order to get it to work properly?
