Message-ID: <8904142030.aa10321@SMOKE.BRL.MIL> Date: 14 Apr 89 17:01:45 GMT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The Internet Lines: 22 The other day I was plugging something into my GS's internal game controller socket (I've used the device SEVERAL times without a hitch) and when I turned on the power to my GS, only the green power light came on. No beep. No boot. No nothing. Needless to say, I freaked out knowing that a motherboard replacement is too costly for my meek college student funds. About an hour later, I gave my system one last try before taking it in to the dealer... and it worked. Needless to say, I was confused. Does anybody know what happened?? It works fine now. -Gonzo /**********************************************************************\ |* Joe "Gonzo" Wankerl |*| *| |* |*| The views expressed here are *| |* BitNet => JWANKERL@UTCVM |*| not necessarily yours... *| |* ALPE => SuperGonzo |*| *| |* |*| ...but they should be. *| \**********************************************************************/
