The other day I was plugging something into my GS's internal game
controller socket (I've used the device SEVERAL times without a hitch)
and when I turned on the power to my GS, only the green power light
came on.  No beep.  No boot.  No nothing.  Needless to say, I freaked
out knowing that a motherboard replacement is too costly for my
meek college student funds.

About an hour later, I gave my system one last try before taking it
in to the dealer... and it worked.  Needless to say, I was confused.

Does anybody know what happened??  It works fine now.
