I don't recall who was asking about the 850 parity settings, but I finally
found my 850 reference manual. Parity setting are done through XIO #38.

INPUT PARITY OPTIONS ADDED TO AUX1

0 INGNORE PARITY
4 CHECK FOR ODD PARITY - CLEAR PARITY BIT
8 CHECK FOR EVEN PARITY - CLEAR PARITY BIT
12 DO NOT CHECK PARITY BUT CLEAR PARITY BIT


OUTPUT PARITY OPTIONS ADDED TO AUX1

0 DO NOT CHANGE PARITY
1 SET OUTPUT PARITY TO ODD
2 SET OUTPUT PARITY TO EVEN
3 SET PARITY TO ONE
