This is just what I meant, not that Atari is not working on the TT, just that it hasn't reach the point where it is very unlikely to be axed (a lot of people remember the infamous MS-DOS emulator that was actually shown to the public at various exhibitons before it died a sudden death (this was before your time if I remember correctly)), I would think that distribution of `developer' machines marks the point where we can have some confidence in a machine actually making it to the market (and what I would call `commited').
