HP has just announced a new DeskJet the 'Plus' twice as fast at text,
upto several times fast graphics, more fonts (wasn't clear if this was
built-in fonts or cartridges), and >get this< same list price.  HP
will continue to sell the 'old' Deskjet at a reduced price (I wish I
could remember the exact number but it was something like 300 less)
I gleaned this stuff from this weeks Info-World.

Oh by the way there was no mention of permenant ink.
