  I believe both programs are in the shareware/public domain. I know IFFSPEC
exists, because I've seen it around (no copy of my own, sorry). If anyone
does have GIFSPEC, I'd like to see that posted (or sent).

  (Is this just a glorified "me too!"?  B-) )
