A 40Mb, 28 ms drive from an established company will be hard to find but I believe that ICD offers 50meg with room for another drive. I just finished putting together a 100meg drive in an ICD case. I used two Seagate 157N's (48megs and 28 ms each) and they fly at 550Kps and 35-40ms based on ICD's HD Rate program. Putting it all together required a screwdriver and about half an hour with ICD's case because *everthing* you need is included except the mech itself. SUpra makes a 40 meg that fits under the hood of the Mega but I wouldn't go that route because it adds heat to the computer and the vibrations can be bad for the motherboard. Also, if the HD goes down the computer goes with it and vice versa. Peter Szymonik
