Now there are cd-player with a digital output (for amplifiers) I want to know if there is any possibility (with special hardware) to get sampling-data directly out of one of these players into the Atari. Then you wouldn't need to do the sampling and could achieve professional quality!!! But I don't know much about hardware, because I'm just a software-freak :-) So please, does anybody can help me or does anybody know, who this could be possible or why it is impossible?
