I recently posted a couple of articles about my trials and tribulations
with trying to get a hard drive system working.  I have been made aware
that my postings may have sounded like someone on the net had intentionally
sent me a bad hard drive.   NOT THE CASE AT ALL!  I was trying (albeit not
very well obviously) to vent my frustration at having been so close to
having a long-awaited hard drive working and thinking that I might have
to start almost from square one again.  Fortunately , this wasn't the case
and I was able to get the system working fine (hense my second posting).
  I have never had anything but complete cooperation from people on this
net, and I am very grateful to the many people who have helped me out with
helpful tips and/or replies to my various postings.  
  Again, if I offended anyone, it was totally unintentional!!
