I think both arguments boil down to the same underlying complaint: Atari doesn't actually *do* anything. When they were announcing products all over the place, showing them at trade shows etc., people complained because the products never actually appeared. Now Atari never annouces anything (although they hint and still show stuff that may never be available for sale) and people are complaining because they don't hear anything about new products. Really it's the same argument. Atari hasn't got any new products worth talking about and they're now avoiding talking about stuff that will never happen. Either way people are gonna complain about nothing new and exciting ever making it to a store near them.
