Whether you need to just unARC those files, depend on whether they are UUEncoded
or what. If they are, then read my other reply Re: UUE. which I sent.

I can send you the documentation for the ARC.TTP program if you want it. Either
reply direct to me or to the digest.

I would offer more help, but as yet, I have not been very successful with
getting anything out of BITNET. What server are you using, and what commands
do you use. I have sent the following commands in a subjestless and without a
disclaimer (See below) and I still get errors.

INDEX INFO-A16            or             index info-a16
INDEX PROG-A16            or             index prog-a16

and I get the return mail saying that both these lists are unknown by the
LISTSERV.

Any comments other than those requesting for ARC documentation, please send to
the digest.
