Could someone help me with this problem? We have a unixpc and a tape backup drive. When I was running the att "Tape Backup Diagnostics" disk, it always gets stuck at the part: "Checking DMA address operation...." Yet when I run the regular diagnostics disk, processor and memory check works perfectly. NO errors, and it doesnt get stuck. Any ideas on what could be wrong? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Also, what is the key in hooking up another terminal to the unixpc? We have 6 terminals and an expansion box with a 3 combo boards, which the system recognizes. 1- What should the setup be for the other terminal 2- How do we get it to act like a terminal (i.e. where in install do we go? We have told it that RS232 port 1-6 are in TERMINAL mode, 9600 baud, but it doesnt work)? There is no response. We have hooked it up with a null modem cable and we are in multiuser mode.
