Its 64 mode works flawlessly. Its 128 mode works pretty well, with the following caveats: - A few of the commands don't work. The only ones I remember are FAST and SLOW (although you can change the CPU speed with POKEs). Also, a few of the commands work slightly differently than normal, e.g., SCNCLR [?] does not default to the current screen. - ROM routines are not where they are in production models (although the Kernal jump table is fine). - Fast serial is not supported. - Occasionally it gets confused after allocating and then dealloca- ting graphics space. Basically, in 128 mode, commercial ML software is NOT likely to work, but random BASIC stuff you or your friends write should work, possibly with minor modifications. CP/M mode doesn't work (I'm not even certain the thing has a Z80; I can figure it out if anyone cares). However, if you're looking for a good 64-compatible system, and/or would like to experiment with graphics and sprite programming or the 80- column chip, this is a good deal. I'm asking $175.00 o/b/o plus shipping (from Connecticut). I will be happy to break the system up if people like. Also, if anyone is interes- ted in copies of the programs I've written, let me know. -jay P.S. To use the 80-column mode, you will need a monitor and a cable; I'd be happy to give you further information. ____________________________________________________________________________ DISCLAIMER: Everything I say is the| sekora-jay@yale.UUCP absolute and utter truth, but Yale | {backbone}!yale!sekora-jay doesn't necessarily know this. | sekjaya@yalevm.BITNET | 6455 Yale Station, New Haven, CT 06520
