Sci., Aalborg University, Denmark Lines: 23 Keywords: About instaling a Seagate ST251-1 in a AT&T 6300. A AT&T 6300 is the same computer as a Olivetti M24 witch i have one of. with a ST251-1 28 ms. Advice: You can not get more preformens from a XT computer (AT&T 6300), than about 40 in harddisk access time. If you is thinking of using harddisks with more speed bye a AT or a 386. If you insist of installing a ST251-1, witch I have done, You most be soure that you not is gettingmore speed out of the harddisk, than if you have bord a ST251-0 40ms. About controler: Use the western digital inside the computer if it is the 1/2 or 1/4 length model, and then use the controler in the Bios and not on the harddisk controler. If you not is having a Bios with the New Harddisk's arsk you dealer, and if he not is having one I can be helpful to You. Peter Sunesen Heimdalsgade 42,7 9000 Aalborg Denmark
