	In UNIX I use find and cpio to do this osrt of function.  About 2
	weeks ago I collected MSDOS versions of these 2 packages from 
	comp.binaries.ibm.pc, though I haven't had time to download these
 	to my XT yet.  The command should be something like:

	    find a:\ -print | cpio -och > c:\file.sav

	I can't gaurantee it, but this sounds like what you want.
