When I use certain programs to check file sizes and other file
information I sometimes get files called prn, com1, com2, com3, com4,
lpt1, lpt2, or lpt3 in the listing in all subdirectories.  I have heard
that there is an undocumented option that can be added to config.sys
that will cause these devices to only appear in the subdirectory /dev.
Has anyone else heard of this option?  If so can someone please email
the imformation about the option to me?  Does using this option cause
any problems?
